Showforce dominates sporting events

Showforce continues to lead the way when it comes to delivering crew for major sporting events and this weekend was no exception. We supported five of our long-standing clients with the London Marathon, FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley and Women’s Guinness Six Nations at Twickenham.

We worked directly with the London Marathon’s organising team providing drivers and event crew, and also with two of its biggest suppliers Arena (installing seating) and ADI (installing screens at the start and finish lines).

20 of our crew also helped ADI deploy and install pitch banners at Wembley for this weekend’s FA Cup semi-finals.

We had a team of 20 crew out with Event360 at Twickenham for the RFU Women’s Guinness Six Nations where England thrashed Ireland 88-10. The crew were onsite for two days, with the first day onsite dedicated to rehearsals and ensuring they had perfected the rolling stage moves on and off the pitch before delivering a flawless performance at half time for Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s performance.

These events came hot on the heels of the Bristol Street Motors Final at Wembley two weeks ago where they worked with Event 360 again installing and deploying crowd banners and also the U18 PDL Cup Final and U17 Professional Development League Cup Final working with Mainline Events to with moving the presentation elements onto the pitch.

And there’s plenty more where they came from with several jobs for major sporting events confirmed in the coming weeks. Watch this space….
