Showforce, with the assistance of THE Production TEAM, supplied 23 crew and technicians on a long-term basis to sensory experience specialist, Holovis. Work began in March 2022, installing a large LED installation and assembling the racking for media servers for a new feature within a major visitor attraction. The team included AV installation crew, video technicians and an install supervisor.
THE Production TEAM played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this project. As experts in technical recruitment, its handled the CV vetting, pay negotiations and put forward the candidates for interview and selection by the client. The install supervisor and lead video technician have since been employed on a permanent basis, which THE Production TEAM facilitated.
With a pool of experienced crew who had carried out similar work at EXPO 2020 for both the DP World Pavilion and KSA Pavilion, Showforce was able to supply a team who were familiar with LED installations of this scale. In addition, they were all trained and qualified to work at height which was imperative given the nature of the install. The two teams of crew providing for assembling the complex racking system that was required for the media servers were trained onsite and integrated with Holovis’ team.
As you would expect from Showforce, compliance to worker welfare was adhered to throughout the project. All personnel onsite had the correct work permits and both Showforce crew and the freelance technicians provided by THE Production TEAM received their monthly salaries on time.
This project is an excellent example of how Showfore and THE Production TEAM can work together to provide solutions for its clients.
