Steelyard performance for Showforce

In the first week of December 2019, a team of experienced Showforce crew bravely battled the winter weather to assist LarMAC Live with the production build of Creamfields Steelyard. Held on Liverpool’s Central Docks, the all day dance event saw the space transformed, creating an experience that delivered a complete sensory for event goers.

The terrain at location presented a challenge for the Showforce crew as the heavy flight cases housing all the lighting, sound and video equipment had to pushed across the stones and gravel and given the amount of kit involved it was no mean feat.

Showforce’s crew were onsite for three days and amassed 107 shifts assisting with rigging, lighting, sound, video and creative, supporting the event’s suppliers PRG, Adlib and BPM with the load in and install. The project was overseen by one of Showforce’s experienced crew chiefs and the company also supplied a qualified telehander operator.

Electronic pioneers, brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike put on a jaw dropping show for the second edition of Steelyard.
