Showforce supports BeastED Career Path Programme

This August and September Showforce supported the BeastED Career Path Program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivering practical, industry-led training to the next generation of live event professionals.

Working in partnership with the Academy of Live Technology, Ricky Holland, Special Project Director, Haroon Nasir, Country Operations Lead – KSA and experienced crew supported the Academy of Live Technology with two weeks of intensive training sessions covering key areas of event production – from rigging and staging, through to lighting, audio and video. The goal was to equip emerging Saudi talent with the technical skills, safety knowledge and confidence required to work on world-class live events.

In addition, Showforce delivered two full IPAF Certification courses, enabling participants to gain recognised qualification in the safe operation of MEWPs. These covered:

• Introduction & MEWP categories
• Structural components
• Regulations & compliance
• Pre-inspections and handovers
• Safe operation & hazard awareness
• Practical assessment

The BeastED programme is designed to create a sustainable, skilled local workforce for Saudi Arabia’s rapidly growing live events sector and Showforce was proud to play its part in the training.
