Game on for Qiddiya in Cologne

With established connections to Europe and Saudi Arabia, Showforce was the perfect crewing partner for Qiddiya’s activation at the recent Gamescom event held in Cologne from 21st – 25th August. As Europe’s biggest and game developer conference with 3400+ attendees it offered a wide range of events and sessions for international games industry professionals. Working alongside MAS Agency, the experiential agency appointed to deliver the Qiddiya stand as it sought to position its vision to become a disruptive global destination city set to be a hub for entertainment, sports and culture to life.

The stand was medieval in style and featured stain glass windows that brought the high fantasy story of Qiddiya to life. Our crew were onsite for 15 days in total supporting the rigging, lighting, sound, scenery and trussing departments, along with the MAS’ production team.

Over 1000 man hours were amassed in total.
