Once again, Showforce proved that it is the on-trend crewing company of choice when it comes to London Fashion Week, with teams of crew onsite at multiple locations across the capital for various clients and major brands. As always there were several projects that required highly experienced crews who have the venue and client knowledge to meet the challenges presented to them. Stand out elements of A/W London Fashion Week 2019 included:
A prestigious after show charity event where crews unloaded 18 trucks of equipment and then loaded them into the venue. Particularly challenging as there are time constraints and a small loading bay to contend with, coupled with an even smaller lift. So, lots of manpower, big smiles and a can-do attitude to complete this project.
Unloading/ loading and movement of brand new, high end furniture for a private party in Notting Hill. In a space that already contained expensive items, some made of glass, this was meticulous and careful work for a four-man crew who completed the job without incident.
A leading designer show that needed the venue setting up; an eight-man crew installed the catwalk, built the stage and then assisted with the lighting and sound install.
The crew also unloaded and constructed a large set in a key venue and assisted with the lighting and sound install.
An eight-man crew installing set and assisting with its build over three days in an exclusive high end venue in Grosvenor Square.
All the projects assigned to Showforce for London Fashion Week were completed successfully and on time highlighting that its crew members are highly experienced in this field and have the skill sets necessary to deliver at this level.
