Showforce has built an excellent working relationship with the Coca Cola Arena’s in-house team having been the venue’s official crewing provider for more than four years. Both site and technical crew are supplied on a weekly basis to assist with tasks that occur in the day to day running of the venue and supporting the successful delivery of the numerous events that are held within it.
In the last 12 months we have supported over 95 events at the venue, spent 267 days onsite and amassed almost 40,000 man hours. The types of events held there vary from corporate away days, brand activations and conferences, to sporting events and performances by global artists. The venue has recently become home to the Dubai Basketball team which is part of the ABA League and regularly attracts 5000+ fans.
Our site crew supports the daily requirements of the operations department and regular tasks include placement and removal of barriers; team and dressing room management and assisting with the displaying advertising and marketing materials throughout the venue.









Technical crew work in tandem with the venue’s production department assisting with the install and removal of seating, fitting and fixtures, screens and sound equipment. Our crew also arranges sets on the arena floor and we provide standby crew for show runs.
In terms of the operational crewing approach, Showforce provides crew management through its Crew Chiefs. These are then split into subgroups of crew dependent on the number of crew requirements in a shift. The teams are then spread out within the venue as per the request of the departmental heads.
The crew we supply are experienced, well trained and have expert knowledge of the venue and the various departments’ requirements.
We provide a dedicated team of local crew for the contract to ensure continuity and a consistent standard of work. It has allowed the venue team to build successful and trusting relationships with, as well as other departments and contractors on site and helps to accommodate the schedule changes that you’d expect from a venue operating at this level. They regularly impress the Coca Cola’s in-house team and over the last six months 10 of our regular crew have received a Certificate of Excellence.
In addition, our account manager has an excellent working relationship with the Arena’s inhouse operations and production teams ensuring that all requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently. In the last year they’ve spent over 100 hours accrediting staff for events at the venue.
