Showforce supplied a team of crew to event management company Blueway to assist with the build, show days and de-rig for the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference held at ExCel this February. The event hosted over 4,000 business and political leaders including Jordan Peterson, Kemi Badenoch and Os Guinness as they discussed the future of Western civilisation.
Our first two days onsite saw the crew working alongside multiple technical suppliers to unload eight truckloads full of kit and equipment. The crew then set about rigging the auditorium with four small LED screens, a large curved LED screen, over 250 lights and a full audio setup. In addition. They also built and installed staging and set for the conference.

Another team of crew was tasked with unloading and siting seven truckloads of furniture in additional spaces within the venue.
Once the event build had been completed the team remained onsite to assist with the three live days of the event. Their responsibilities included stage changeovers, rearranging furniture and stock management of things like water, stationary and other ancillary items. Beyond the main auditorium, the crew ensured that the five additional areas for banqueting and conference rooms on the upper level were set up correctly and on time. This included ensuring that room set ups had the correct layout and furniture, along with microphones, lecterns and other equipment. They also supported the organising team with tasks as required.
As soon as the final speaker finished, the crew sprang into action to complete the de-rig and load out. With a team of just eight, the crew successfully cleared all trucks and returned the venue to its original state on time.
